Gordon Oslin was born on April 3, 1929 in Glendorado Township, MN to Harry and Agnes Oslin. He moved to Laporte with his family in 1948. Where he met and married Alice Clyde in March of 1951.

Gordy was a Korean War Veteran. He worked at various jobs before he became an Electrician and was a MN State Electrical Inspector until he retired.

After Alice passed away in 1997, Gordy met and married June DeWitt. They resided in Bemidji for 17 years.

At the time of his passing Gordy was living at the Oak Hill Assisted Living in Grand Rapids where he received very good care by the staff.

Gordy is survived by his three children: son; Clyde (Sandie) Oslin of Grand Rapids, Brenda (Daryl) Dutcher of Glenwood and Jody (Steve) Smith of Laporte. Six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, wife; June Oslin of Cloquet and her family, numerous brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The family of Gordy would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Oak Hill Assisted Living in Grand Rapids and the Essentia Health Itasca Hospice for taking such good care of our Dad and Grandpa.
