Gloria Jeannette Baer, 85, of Westminster, died Friday, September 22, 2017, at home with her loving family by her side. Born February 5, 1932 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy Milton Hare and Ruth Louise Martin Hare. Her husband Clair Henry Baer died November 16, 1997.
Before retiring she worked at Random House and was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, she enjoyed playing the piano and liked gospel music, she enjoyed roller skating, playing Bingo and going on bus trips. She was very fond of her pet dogs.
She is survived by three sons Carl H. and Kevin L. Baer of Westminster, Randy L. Baer and wife Dyann of Hanover, PA, brother Kenneth B. Hare and wife Jean Hare of Upperco, brother-in-law Marlin Masemore of Parkton, 2 grandchildren; Brad Boone and wife Tricia, Jodi Fisher and husband Scott, 2 great-grandchildren; Wyatt and Chase. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Shirley L. Masemore.
