Gloria Anoskey, 84, of Union Pier, Michigan died Monday morning, November 5, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan.
Gloria was born November 16, 1927 to Edward and Bessie (Jupa) Custer. On May 16, 1948 she married Mario “Mike” Anoskey in Chicago and in 1955 moved to Michigan where they made their home in Union Pier. Gloria was employed as an inspector at Gerber Babywear in Three Oaks.
She enjoyed shopping, collecting rocks, craft projects, and flower arranging. Gloria was a cat lover, not just her cats, but any cats. Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Mark) Henshaw of Union Pier, Michigan, son Thomas (Kathleen) Anoskey of Galien grandsons, Michael (Sonia) Anoskey and William (Erin) Anoskey, great great grandchildren, Jacob, Kasey and Myles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, on December 26, 1994.
