Co-founder of Boca Chica Restaurante, Gloria Frias, age 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on her favorite day, December 12, 2015 — the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guillermo, parents, Arturo and Elvira Coronado and siblings Rita, Arturo, Rose and Carmen. She is survived by her children, Alfredo, Estevan (Lorraine), Eduardo (Patricia) and Cristela (William) Koski and grandchildren, Jesie (Robbie), Jenny (Krandell), Pepe (Brittany), Joey (Janet), Javier (Melinda), Marie and Ruben, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Vera Velasquez and Aurora Bakke and many nieces and nephews.
