Glenna Stump Kahle, 83, of Fieldale, VA died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Salem, VA at the home of her daughter, Kathy Lamanca. She was born on July 18, 1928 in Rock, West Virginia to the late, Charles Glenn Stump and Nannie Byrd King Stump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Hugo Kahle; two sisters, Barbara (Bobbie) Mills and Violet Young and one brother, Charles (C.D.) Stump. Mrs. Kahle attended Fieldale Baptist Church and retired from Belk’s Department Store as a sales associate. Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda Kahle of Key West, FL, Patricia Vitkus (Donald Vitkus) of Chicopee, MA and Kathy Lamanca (Larry Lamanca) of Salem, VA; sons, Charles Kahle (Michele Kahle) of Clifton Forge, VA, Mike Kahle (Brenda Kahle) of Fieldale, VA and Andrew Kahle (Ramona Kahle) of Woolwine, VA; grandchildren, Sarah Pierce (Derek Pierce) Marcella Lopez, Valerie Branham, (Josh Branham) Amelia Kahle, David Kahle, Bryce Barrow, Brianna Barrow, Amber Kahle and India Kahle and one great-grandson, Oliver Branham.
