Glenna J. Harrison, 76, Huntington, IN died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Harrison was born November 28, 1931 in Huntington, IN to John and I. Pauline Johnson Fahrnow. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Harrison married Joseph E. Harrison on May 28, 1954 in Fort Wayne. Mr. Harrison survives. Mrs. Harrison was an O. S. & D. Clerk at Yellow Freight. She retired in 1991.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality. Glenna was very active in her church and served as Coordinator for funeral dinners at St. Mary Catholic Church for 9 years. She also volunteered at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home. Additional survivors include: four daughters: Paula R. Funk and husband David, Huntington; Ann M. Cirullo and husband Dan, Fort Wayne, IN; Christine Shoemaker and husband Dan, Huntington; and Laura J. Hughes and husband Matthew, Huntington.
Also surviving are two brothers: Harry Fahrnow, Fort Wayne, IN and Jerry Fahrnow, Huntington: and three sisters: Nancy Wiles, North Webster, IN; Mary Florey, Coal City, IL; and Ruth Stoeckley, Roanoke, IN; 10 Grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Mowery.
