Glenn W. Belcher, 71, passed away on February 13, 2018 in Emmett, Idaho after a brief illness. Mr. Belcher was born at Caldwell, Idaho on October 28, 1946, a son of Jack C. and Janice M. Belcher. He attended Caldwell public schools and graduated in 1965 from Caldwell High School.
The family moved to Boise in 1965 and operated the Beehive Drive-In on Orchard Street for several years. Later they ran several variety stores in Boise. Glenn worked in the family’s businesses and enjoyed bowling for recreation. In 1992, he began living part-time in Emmett as well as Boise. In the last two years of his life, Glenn lived at Apple Valley Residence in Emmett.
Whether helping at Special Olympics camp or organizing bingo games, Glenn enjoyed making people happy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister. The family wishes to express thanks to the staff of Apple Valley Residence for their care of Glenn.
