Glenn Osborn Adams, age 68, of Lake City, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Graham and Ethel Adams. Glenn is survived by Olivia Giebeig Adams, his wife of 44 years, his son Sean Adams (Bridget) and three grandchildren: ZoAA« Norris, Devin and Ander Adams. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters: Ross (Wilma) Adams, Greg (Helen) Adams, Gary (Donna) Adams, Donna Lourcey, and Jeanne (Tommy) Karst, and many nephews and nieces.
Glenn served in the United States Air Force and later earned his degree from Florida State University. He worked as a construction contractor with Giebeig Construction and later spent 25 years teaching in the Columbia County school system before retiring. After retirement, he spent his time traveling with his wife and friends and volunteering at the VA Hospital.
