Glenn Dean Michaelson, 79, returned to his Heavenly Father on April 1, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a brief illness due to a brain tumor. Dean was born on October 26, 1936 in St. Charles at the home of his parents, William Glenn Michaelson and Gracellen Ringel Michaelson. He was the oldest of 5 brothers. Dean married his sweetheart Maxine Teuscher on December 8, 1955 in Virginia City, NV, later being sealed in the Logan Temple. They have 2 daughters, Cindy & Kathalene and 2 sons, Jerry Glenn & Marlin George. Our dad taught us so much about the outdoors & how to enjoy nature and survival skills and we have so many good memories of camping, boating, fishing and family time. Dean grew up always loving nature and the outdoors as his father & grandfather did. He started trapping as a young boy and was still trapping in November. He was well known all over the community & neighboring valleys for his trapping, hunting, fishing and also helping farmers trap beaver out of their irrigation ditches. He worked a short time on the railroad, then 18 years in the underground at Leefe Operation, then the oil field for a time. Dean farmed the old homestead all his life and always trapped to help make a living. He & Maxine also loved square dancing and did so for years with many friends, also doing a special performance in Russia.
