Glenda Sue Jackson, age 78 of Sharpsburg, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Searles, AL to the late George Lee Hannah and Vader Short Hannah. She was the youngest of eight children. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters. Glenda graduated from Brookwood High School in 1960. She moved to Birmingham where she met her husband. They married on February 8, 1963 and moved to Georgia to start a family. She is survived by her husband, Roy Talton Jackson; children, Terry Jackson (Kim), Suzanne Jenkins and Pam Cooper (Mark). Glenda would tell you that her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, Brad Jackson (Page), Lauren Tedeger, Freddy Jenkins, Blake Jackson, Jackson Jenkins and Peyton Cooper. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren. Glenda loved Jesus and her family with all her heart. Before her health failed, her favorite past time was playing bingo!
