Glenda Krause, age 69, passed peacefully Saturday, January 07, 2023. Glenda was born February 15, 1953 in Brakpan, South Africa. Glenda was cherished by her 3 daughters, Suzelle (Joe) Aguirre, Carlien van Jaarsveld (Victor Rivera) and Christi (Jason) Wood. She was an endearing grandma “Ouma” to Joey, Ethan and Ty Aguirre, Lukas Rivera and Hailey and Danny Wood. Glenda was the proud daughter of the late Christian and Gecina “Sue” Krause and dear sister of Johan (Annetjie ) Krause. Fond aunt of Janine Krause.
Glenda obtained her Bachelor of Arts, focused in Education with Majors in English and Math from University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. She immigrated to the United States for a better life for her family in 1991.
She worked tirelessly to provide the best opportunities and future for her children. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
Glenda was an Executive Assistant at Encore Global for 20 years; where everyone who met her loved her. She had the type of personality that once you met her you wanted to be her friend. She was outgoing and could make friends with anyone. Glenda had hugs and love for everyone. She was generous, selfless, and compassionate. When she hugged you, you felt the light and love in her heart. She was a mother to all.
Glenda was incredibly talented and crafty. She loved to crochet, knit, make cards, paint and make jewelry. She shared that love of crafting with her children. She also had a lifelong love of books.
Her faith in God means a life, eternal in his grace. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
