Glenda Kalbfleisch, 75, a long time resident of Nampa Idaho, went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2012.
Glenda was born January 7th 1937 in Matsqui, British Columbia, the only daughter of Theodore and Alma Heppell. She was raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia until she attended Northwest Nazarene College where she received her bachelor degree in 1961. During this time she met her husband to be, Ken Kalbfleisch and they were married August 18th, 1961.
During the next few years she lived in Colorado as Ken completed vet school and then moved to Phoenix where he began practicing. During this time she worked for a bank and taught piano lessons.
Glenda is survived by her husband Dr. Ken Kalbfleisch of Nampa Idaho; her son, Kurt Kalbfleisch, his wife Lisa and their children Kade and Kenadee of Lakeside California; her daughter Cindy Boster her husband Brent and their children Brad and Brie and 6 great grandchildren in Nampa Idaho and El Paso Texas; as well as her foster brother Peter Laxton and his wife DelRose of Calgary, Alberta Canada.
