Glen Vern Nolte October 27, 1942 – June 30, 2015
Glen Vern Nolte, age 72, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born October 27, 1942 in Stafford, Kansas to the late William H. and Lizzie Louise Spangenberg Nolte.
Glen retired from the Radiology Department of White County Medical Center in Searcy. One of his most beloved hobbies was fishing. Glen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs, and he thoroughly enjoyed singing in the choir.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Roush Nolte; two brothers: Gerald Nolte and Ralph Nolte; brother-in-law, Gerald Edward Roush; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Wiltjer.
Glen is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Wiltjer Nolte; two daughters: Julie Ann Nolte (Charles Bryan) Owen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Mary Elizabeth Nolte (Christopher Lynn) Lasley of Conway, Arkansas; step-son, Ted Russell Eans of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren: Mary Emerson Owen, Hobson Bryan Owen, Jessica Lorene Lasley, and Garett Thomas Eans; and four siblings: Wilma (Richard) Byler, Vinita (Virgil) Gatton, Linda (Bill) Warnecke, and Ellen (Marvin) Engelage.
