Gladys Stout Thompson, 92 of Graham, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late James C. Wood and the late Elmer B. Thompson and the daughter of the late Jesse Everett Stout and the late Mary Bailey Stout. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she formerly served as the Sunday school secretary.
Gladys was a stay at home mom that raised 5 children. She was best known for her cooking, especially her cakes, pies and her famous fried apple pies.
