GLADYS P. WALTER, 94, of 126 Clarks Falls Road, No. Stonington died Friday, October 20. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Wayne and Diana Walter of Clarks Falls and Ron and Mary Lou Walter of Westerly, one sister and her husband Myra and Dudley Wheeler of Stonington and many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews of the Palmer and Wheeler families.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Avis (Collins) Palmer and Charles P. Palmer, Sr. Her husband John H. Walter, Jr. and brother Charles P. Palmer, Jr. She was the last Postmaster of Clarks Falls Post Office. She was a member of the No. Stonington Garden Club, No. Stonington Historical Society, No.
