Gladys G. Wirth (nee Klein), 81, of Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Dumont, NJ, she lived in Freehold, NJ for many years before moving to Fayette, Maine in 1990. During that time she wintered in Summerton, SC. Gladys later moved to Berkeley Twp 18 years ago.
Gladys was a School Bus Driver for the Freehold Twp. Board of Education for 12 years, retiring in 1990. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin “Pat” Wirth in 2001, her twin sister Florence Withstandley, and 2 sisters Lucille Deperesco and Margie Harris.
Gladys is survived by her children and their spouses Patricia & Dean Baldwin of Long Branch, NJ, Steven & Lynn Wirth of Howell, NJ, Susan & Matt Aimalefoa of San Diego, CA and Barbara Collins of Brick, NJ, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. A Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ.
