NORTH CANTON – HUDSON – Gladys Adams Hudson, 85, of 523 Cherry Brook Road, North Canton, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the comfort of her home with her loving husband, Hubert “Teeny” of over 69 years, her daughter Wendy and her loving dog, Katie at her side, following a period of declining health. Gladys was born in Hartford, Ct on November 19, 1929; the daughter of John and Florence Adams. She was married to Hubert M Hudson, Jr on June 30, 1945 in North Canton. She loved her family above all else and was always there for them, spending as much time as she could, participating in their many activities. She was a member of: The North Canton United Methodist Church, the Cherry Brook Grange (Lifetime Member), American Folk Musicians Assoc, CB Radio Club, 4-H Club, The Rowe Historical Society, Past Matron of the Eastern Star and she assisted at many Cross-Country Motorcycle Enduro events. She worked for the US Postal Service for many years. She spent many years at her second home on Newell Cross Road in Rowe, MA loving the ruralness of this small town, with its beautiful Pelham Lake and Adams Mtn. Special appreciation to the many special caregivers allowing her to stay in her own home.Survivors include her beloved husband, Hubert “Teeny” Hudson of North Canton, her daughter, Wendy O’Doherty and her husband Paul of Southington, their children, Jonathan & Megan; her son, Brian Hudson and his wife Laurie of Watertown and their daughter, Alison; her son, Gary Hudson and his wife Sharon of Rowe, MA and children, April Hudson of Liverpool, NY, Holly and her husband Joseph Ledger and children Carolyn and Steven of Chittenango, NY. Besides her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her siblings.
