It is with great sadness that the family of Gisella Margarita Tichy announces her passing on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Gisella was known to family and friends as Mickey. Mickey passed away at the age of 79, peacefully at her home in Denver, Colorado. Mickey was born October 6, 1941 in Dusseldorf, Germany to George and Maria Mixa. The family left Germany and moved to the United States when she was a child, making Colorado her forever home.
She is survived by her children Derrick (Paula) Tichy of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; James (Lisa) Tichy of Bailey, Colorado; and Victoria Tichy of Illinois. As well as her grandchildren Taylor, Sydney, Tyson and Carli Tichy.
Mickey was preceded in death by her husband Sam Edward Tichy, Jr, and her parents George Mixa and Maria Mixa.
