Giovanni Marullo, 84, of Holiday Heights, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Porto Empedocle, Sicily, Italy, he came to the United States in 1958 and lived in Brooklyn, NY and Long Island, NY before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2010. Giovanni was a Longshoreman for the New York Shipping Association for 36 years, retiring in 1996. He was predeceased by his sisters Stella, Antonia and Josephine.
Giovanni is survived by his wife of 58 years, Concetta (nee Mancuso), a son and daughter in law Salvatore and Marge Marullo of Hazlet, NJ, a daughter and son in law Michele and Charlie Volpe of Center Moriches, Long Island, NY, a brother Calogero Marullo of Italy, a sister Teresa Noto of Italy and 3 grandchildren Mark, Maria Teresa and Gerlando.
