Gina M. Brooks-Lay, 50, of Ellettsville, passed away August 9, 2011 at I. U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born, February 15, 1961 in Greenfield, IN, she was the daughter of Bert R. and Mable A. (Belcher) Brooks. Gina was a food service manager at Indiana University for 27 years and she enjoyed volunteering at the Bloomington Food Kitchen.
Survivors include her husband Tony L. Lay of Ellettsville, two sons, Michael L. Lay of Ellettsville, Tony E. Lay of Cincinnati, OH, father, Bert R. Brooks, one sister, Anita K. Bowling (Terry), one brother, Dennis L. Brooks all of McCordsville, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mable A. Brooks (2005) and a sister-in-law, Caroline Brooks (2011).
