Gilbert Louis Oates, III, 48, of 623 Berwick Drive, Fayetteville, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Oates. Son, Jermaine Monroe of NY. Daughters, Yvette Monroe, Fay Terry, Taz Terry and Tempestt Terry all of NY. Parents, Gilbert L. Oates, II and Evelyn Oates both of Fayetteville. Seven grandchildren also survive.
