Gilbert “Gibby” E. Miller, Jr., 58, of Brick, NJ died on Monday March 6, 2017 at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital in Pemberton Twsp., NJ surrounded by his family. Gibby was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Brick, NJ. He was a truck driver for Belknap Group in Pompton Plains, NJ. Gibby was a member of the Elks in Brick, NJ. He enjoyed fishing, camping and most of all, his family and dogs.
Gibby is predeceased by his parents Gilbert E. Miller, Sr. and Joan Miller. Surviving is his love Dale Ann Skiba of Brick, NJ; his step-daughter Kayla Marie Skiba of Brick, NJ; his siblings JoAnn Alberding and her husband Robert of Brick, NJ, Gerard Miller and his husband Denis Randall of Ocean Twsp., NJ, Donna Diaz and her husband Luis of Brandon, FL, Laura Collins and her husband Shane of Brandon, FL, Jennifer Wright and her husband Paul of Riverview, FL and Christine Padilla and her husband Antonio of Tampa, FL.
Also surviving are nephews Bobby and Marc Alberding, Paul Wright, Marquise Miller, Christopher Padilla; nieces Alycia Riverio, Shayla Collins, Breyanna Wright; and great-niece and great-nephew Payton and Aaron Alberding. Family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Friday March 10, 2017 from 5-8pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private.
