Gertrude R. Conklin, 92 of Whiting, NJ section of Manchester Township passed away Monday April 18, 2016 at Georgetown Commons at the Pines at Whiting. She was born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Iselin and moved to Toms River in 1980. Gertrude was a Clerical Worker with Ocean County Board of Social Services for many years. She was a former parishioner of St. Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin where she was a member of their Rosary Society.
She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township, NJ Predeceased by her husband George in 1976, her brothers Joseph, William, and John and also her sisters Florence Landy and Dorothy Nadella. Surviving are her son George and his wife Rosemary of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, her daughter Arlene Santhouse and her husband Robert of Perrineville,NJ, four grandchildren Gregory, Candice, William and Kevin and also five great grandchildren Connor, Liana, Casey, Olivia and Morgan.
