She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and children Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her husband James. She is survived by two sons James Frank Holmes, of Methuen, MA, and Alan Gerard Holmes, of Windham ,NH;One daughter, Donna Caros,of New Port Richey, FL; Three sisters, Carolyn Murphy, Wrentham, MA, Lillian Castellano, Boston and Sarah Wazlowski, New Bedford, MA and 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
