Gertrude M. Kratzer Tague, 95, died April 22, 2011 at her daughters residence in Anderson, Indiana.

She was born August 2, 1915 in a log cabin north of California, Missouri, to Charles & Marie Kratzer the third of five children. Her family immigrated from Switzerland, Beil and Thun. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she met Walter Tague. They were married in October 1937 in California, Missouri. She and her husband were co-owners of the Tague Radio and TV Store on Truman Road in Kansas City for over 50 years. Gertrude was a member of the Ivanhoe United Church of Christ in Raytown, Missouri and St. Pauls United Church of Christ until it closed. She attended the 1st Presbyterian Church while in Anderson. She bowled until she was 88 years old.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Ruth Zeller Gary of Anderson; sister, Martha Dawson of California, Missouri; sister-in-law, Rowena Kratzer of North Fork, California; two grandchildren Melinda Cyr Joseph of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Phillip Zeller Laura of Vincent, Ohio; five great grandchildren, Meghan and Brittany Zeller, Zachary Zeller, Morghan Cyr and Tanner Cyr; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Tague in May of 1992; parents, Charles & Marie Fahrni Kratzer; sister, Hilda Evans; and brothers, Wilber Kratzer and Herbert Kratzer.
