Mr. Gerlon L. Stewart, 86, of New Market, Alabama died Wednesday at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Bevill’s Chapel Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Walnut Grove community. Survivors include his two daughters, Brenda Cunningham and Reisa Nix both of Fayetteville, Tennessee; two sisters, Agnes Britton and Rachel Wilson both of Hazel Green, Alabama; one brother, Lawerence Wilmer Stewart of Hazel Green, Alabama; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
