Geraldine Watson of Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Ft. Myers, FL and Syracuse, NY passed away after a long illness with family members by her side. Born in Pennsylvania, she loved to travel and would plot out points of interest to stop at along the journey. She was an avid reader, teaching her children the value of a well-rounded education. While in Syracuse she was involved in politics and worked as a grass roots supporter for various campaigns and was an election inspector for many years.
Geri was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Donald, in 1998 and her parents Howard and Zelma Whitney. She is survived by her children, Michael Watson (Linda Shaver) of Harmony, NC; Desiree (Michael) Callachor of Colorado Springs and Daria Watson (Paul Gober) of East Syracuse, NY. There are two granddaughters, Heather Watson (Aaron Jelliff) of Corning, NY and Kassia Gober of East Syracuse, NY; two great grandsons, Dylan and Zander, her good friend Siri and her cat Missy.
