Geraldine M. “Geri” Putts, age 72, of Rensselaer passed away July 26, 2010 at the Jasper County Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1938 in Rensselaer, the daughter of Gerald and Dorothy (Downs) Baldwin. Geri attended the Mt. Ayr School. She also had lived in Morocco. On June 10, 1989, in Rensselaer she married Robert “Bob” Putts who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Burr Oak Mennonite Church.
Also surviving are four children, Jeffrey Turner, Rensselaer, Cindy (Tom) Luttrell and Sandy Lade both of Fair Oaks, and Teri (Robert) Miller, Phoenix, AZ; five step-children; 12 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 17 great -grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.
Geri was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
