Geraldine L. “Jerry” (Lotz) McNally, 93, of Metamora, IL, formerly of East Peoria, IL passed away at 1:40 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Snyder Village Health Center in Metamora. She was born on April 4, 1923 in Peoria, IL to Burrell Boales and Sophie (Mills) Thompson. She married Jacob “Jack” Lotz in October, 1942 in Macon, GA. He passed away in 1983. She then married Donald McNally in May, 1991. He passed away in 2005.
Surviving are her children Jan (Dean) Swanson of East Peoria, Rick (Sally) Lotz of Metamora, and Jamie (Pam) Lotz of Metamora; grandchildren Rick Swanson, Eric (Alma) Swanson, Lance (Amy) Lotz, Tifanny (Joe) Ryan, Brittany (Nathan) Kurt, Addi (Derek) Schluter, and Jeremiah (Abby) Lotz; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jerry was a member of the East Peoria Women’s Club, District 50 Mother’s Club Bowling League, Peoria Cotillion Club, and the Ivy Yacht and Canoe Club in Peoria Heights.
