She married Joseph Michael Clancy in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 8, 1938.
He preceded her in death on September 17, 2001. Mrs. Clancy was a former school teacher in the Southwest Allen County School System for 16 years. She retired in 1980. She was a former member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, Indiana.

(Joe) Gruber, Cheyenne, WY. 14 Grandchildren and 24 Great-grandchildren. Deceased : 1Son: Timothy Joseph Clancy. 1 Daughter: Margaret Louise Clancy.1 Brother: Arden Charles Gemmer.
