Newark – Geraldine Clara Whitmore Davis, 71 died Sunday, April 7, 2002 at her home.
Geraldine was born the daughter of Clarence and Florence Whipple Whitmore on December 19, 1930 in Spring Port, New York. She had worked for Parker-Hannifin Corp. in Lyons for 23 years. She had also worked for the Wayne County Nursing Home and ARC in Newark. Geraldine enjoyed sewing and was a great seamstress. She attended the Newark Baptist Church.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter Rita Davis (James) Thibert; sons Keith (Sandi) Davis and Jeffery (Cindy) Davis; grandchildren Stepheni, Reana, Josh, Steven, Carrie, Julie, Michael and Sharon; great grandchildren Ivory, Taydeah, Hannah, Mary, Trinity, Gage, Mikayla and Anthony; sisters Eva Dillon, Anita Casselman, Bessie Bower, Audrey King, Violet O’Dell and Linda Schwab; brothers Harold, Vincent, Eugene, Charles “Ed” and Fredrick Whitmore; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
