Gerald “Jerry” Ronald Skibinski age 71 of Centralia died Tuesday April 9, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born on May 3, 1941 in Richview the son of Simeon Roscoe & Thelma Viola (Sanders) Skibinski. He married Carolyn L. Mosby on November 10 1958 and they later divorced, he then married Carolyn R. Sturgeon on January 5, 1982 and she survives him in Centralia.
In addition to his Carolyn, he is survived by one daughter Tonya Rollinson and husband Carl of Centralia; one step-daughter Amy Smith of Centralia; five grandchildren Ashley Hayes, Eric Rollinson, Dustin, Jimmy & Chelsea Branch all of Centralia; one great-grandchild Melayna Hayes; two brothers Paul Skibinski of Centralia, Orland Skibinski of Woodlawn; one sister Frances Ruth & husband Delbert of Springfield, IL; one brother-in-law Bill Kurtz of Peoria; and one sister-in-law Arlene Skibinski of Richview.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ervin Skibinski; one sister Juanita Skibinski; and one sister-in-law Margie Skibinski. Mr. Skibinski was a local pilot, worked at Murray Center and was a Truck driver for many years.
