Passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the age of 80. He was born July 18, 1935, in Kalamazoo, to the late Ronald and Doris (Slack) Dudgeon. Gerald was employed by the City of Portage, Department of Public Works. He enjoyed practice shooting and was a member of the Kalamazoo Rod and Gun Club and life member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a member of the Kalamazoo/Portage Moose Lodge #88 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #526.
Gerald is survived by his children, Scott (Mona) Waddell and Fred (Dina) Waddell; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Assante, Joshua Waddell, Janessa (Michael) Copenhafar, Dru (Jessica) Williams, and Amy (John) Colberg; two great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene (Boyd) Naylor, and nieces. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dudgeon and grandson, Matthew Waddell.
