Gerald G. Orman, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday October 3, 2016 in his residence. Gerald was born May 20, 1929 in Terre Haute to Vern Orman and Opal Newby Orman. Gerald was retired from Tredegar Film Products formerly known as Visqueen. Gerald was an avid bowler and had won many award for his bowling skills through the years. He was a member of Silent Men, he enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR racing as well as all sports. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris “June” Orman who died in January of 2015, he was also preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bob” Orman in February of 2011. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Orman. Gerald is survived by a son, Terry Orman of Terre Haute, a daughter, Cheryl Orman and her husband Dale also of Terre Haute. He is survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
