Mr. Gerald Eugene Jones, age 67, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital surrounded by his wife, loving family and friends. Mr. Jones was born on January 30, 1951 to the late Braxton Jones and Carolyn King Jones. He will be remembered for his love of his family, joy while camping, and his great guitar playing and songwriting. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Kammi Welch and a brother, Raymond Jones He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon Jones; daughter, Tracy Hodge; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and his faithful lapdog, Lydia.
