Gerald B. Jackson, age 81, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. Gerald served proudly in the U.S. Army. He was a former Police Chief in Simmesport. Music was a great love of Gerald’s.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Evaline Jackson of Simmesport; sister, Gracie Thibodeaux of Simmesport; brothers-in-law; John Smith and Kenneth Smith, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Juanita Hawks, Josephine Bowman, Charlotte Vaccaro, and Gladys Smith; special nephew, Konnor Smith; and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Willis Jackson & Julia Bonnette Jackson.
