Georgia Pettrie Reynolds, 82, a longtime Deming resident passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
Georgia was born August 1, 1927 to Emilie Barcuch and Adolph Nejtek in Granger, Texas. She came to Deming at an early age where she attended public schools and was a communicant at Holy Family Parish. Several years ago she retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Company where she was a telephone operator and was a voice that many recognized.
She is survived by 4 sons, Eddie Hervol and wife, Rose of Farmington; Nick Hervol and wife, Sonya of Deming; Tom Hervol and wife, Rose Ann of Phoenix, AZ and Patrick Hervol and wife, Gloria of Deming; 2 daughters, Dorothy Yeager and husband Ratis and Nora Smith and husband of Beryl both of Little Rock, AK; sister, Marie Pringle of Vancouver, WA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Louie Hervol and Bill Reynolds and sister, Emily Dupree.
