George Wortham was born Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1924 in Newport, Rhode Island and died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, just shy of his 94th birthday. He was preceded in death by his parents Lena Mary (Pinto) Wortham and Rignal Leon Wortham and older brother Dominic Leon Wortham. George is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Marjorie Ellen Wortham and his four children, Reginald Edward Wortham, Barbara Jean Wortham, Mary Ellen Wortham and Joan Maureen Wortham; three grandchildren, Max Baylor Krimmer, Hunter Donahue Wortham and Tess Hayden Krimmer.
