George W. “Bill” Taylor, 72, Anderson, passed away June 18, 2012 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. He was born November 24, 1939 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of his life.
Bill served his country in the Army. He retired as a truck driver and was also a musician for 40 years. Bill was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife whom he married May 22, 1981, Margaret “Marci” A. Shadoan Taylor; daughters, Starlyn B. Lazarus of Nashville, TN, Jennifer B. Montoney of Chesterfield, Angela B. Ulmer Chris of Anderson and Amber M. Stolle Joe of Anderson; step-daughter, Michelle R. Johnson Todd of Anderson; sister, Elaine Boys of Rincon, GA; aunts, Wilda Daniel and Georgia Walters; uncles, Ron Shell Donna and Duane Shell Marjorie all of Anderson; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way; two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Eileen Shell Taylor; and five children who died at birth.
