George W. Collins, 75, of Linton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 6, 1939 in Muncie, IN to the late Robert and Mary (Smith) Collins. George was a self-employed automotive trim specialist. He was a motorcycle enthusiast having taken many trips to Gatlinburg, TN and the Great Smokey Mountains.
George was a member of the Sportsman Motorcycle Assn and had been a District 15 Referee for the American Motorcycle Assn. He is survived by sons: Samuel (Sandy) Collins of New Palestine, IN and Robert (Karen) Collins of Cataract, IN; 5 grandchildren: Jared, Samuel, Bryan, Nikki and Joshua; brother: Robert J. (June) Collins of Cartersburg, IN. George was preceded in death by daughter Cindy Real; granddaughter Candice Rose Real; brother Richard; and sister Sue.
