George Thomas “Tom” Chenoweth, 68, of Westminster, died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Dove House. Born May 5, 1952, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late, Clifton C. Chenoweth, Sr. and Jacqueline Hart Chenoweth. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Marjorie “Margie” Moss Chenoweth.

Tom was the proud owner and operator of Chenoweth Service Center, in Westminster for over 20 years. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and served in the Maryland National Guard as well. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, was heavily involved with Boy Scout Troop #420, enjoyed classic cars, fishing, hunting, coin collecting and going to his cabin in Western Maryland.

Tom is survived by children, Rachel M Chenoweth (Eric V. Schneider) of Mt. Airy, Marlena A. Laverdiere (Scott D) of Westminster, Wayne T. Chenoweth (Kelsey L.) of Westminster, Maisy E. Kratz (Bryan T.) of Westminster.

He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, Lawson A. and Caleigh E. Schneider, Quest A. Mann, Sky L., Star L., Summit R. and Silas M. Laverdiere, Jayden M. Moreland, Chandler W. and Crew T. Chenoweth, Piper R., Justin T. and Pierce L. Kratz. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Sahara M. Laverdiere.
