George D. Stewart, Jr. age 82, of Hayden, AL passed away on August 26, 2010. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Hayden, AL. He was retired from Alabama Power and served in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Holley. He is survived by his wife, Olene Lovvorn Stewart; daughters, Janeth Stewart, Karen Moore (Jerry), and Vicki Sewell (Chris); sons, Gary Stewart (Diane)r and Bruce Stewart; sisters, Margaret Tyndall, Nellie Grace, Carolyn Johnston, and Elizabeth Ryals; brothers, William Stewart and Clarence Stewart; grandchildren, Jill, Jeff, Katie, Holly, Matt, David, Josie, and Nicole.
