George Rutledge “Mike” age 56, of Hammond, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016.
Mike is survived by his father George Rutledge; daughters Meghan and Tamara Rutledge; sisters: Donna (John) Adkins, Barbara (Michael) Mahler, Cynthia (Brian) Modjeski and Erica Martinez; nephews and nieces: Donald, Christopher (Amanda) and Matthew Mahler, Socorro Martinez, Dylan and Ethan Modjeski; two uncles, one aunt and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Rutledge.
Mike was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin.
He was an avid sports fan of: Alabama, Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears and Little League World Series. He could be found on the golf course every chance he got, making a hole-in-one at Summertree G.C.
Mike was always ready and able to help in times of need.
