On Thursday evening January 11, 2018 George R. Sack peacefully passed away into our Lord’s loving arms with his family gathered to him. George was born on September 4, 1930 near Iliff, Colorado to John and Anna Sack. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his parents, sister Anna and brothers John, Leo, Joe and James.
George is survived by sister Mary Stadler along with his brothers Lawrence, Albert and Robert, children Carol and husband Dan, Mike and wife Barbara, Ron, Bill, Donna and husband Dan, Jerry and Melissa as well as grandchildren Amanda, Ronnie, Michael, Robert, Adam, Andrew, Kyah, Elise, Kera, Kristen, Haley and great grandchild, Olivia who were his pride and joy!
George graduated from high school in Brighton, Colorado in 1950 after taking a year off of school to help with the family farm. He joined the Army and served in the Korean war.
