George Poliska, 78, formerly of Linn Street, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Sycamore Manor.
George and his wife, the former Bertha Clark, have been married for 13 years. George’s first wife, the former Anna B. Mayhugh, died on March 25, 1995.
George was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he was a paratrooper. He was also a member of the Door Fellowship.
Born April 14, 1932, in Cairnbrook, Somerset County, he was the son of Peter and Mary Larworski Poliska.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, George M. (Kay) of Montoursville; William L. (Margie) of Washington, PA and Rick E. of Williamsport; granddaughters, Kendra, Melissa, Holly, Anna and Natalie Poliska, Beth and Ashley Miller; and great grandsons, Dylan, Ashton, Hudson and Nolan Ott.
George was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
