Winsted: George P. Attella, 92, of Greenwoods Gardens Apts, died on Monday, September 7, 2009 following a short illness. Born in Winsted, February 7, 1917, son of the late Peter and Mary (Bolus) Attella, he had lived here all of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for the State of Connecticut, Consumer Protection Dept., Bureau of Weights and Measures and there after worked for the American Red Cross and John Wheatley Golf Club Maker of Farmington, CT.
