George Lewis Schinnerer, 61, of Anderson, passed away on June 28, 2013 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN.
He was born on August 30, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana and resided there all of his life. He retired from General Motors. He was also co- owner of Twin Lakes in Columbus, IN. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting gasoline memorabilia.
George is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Grace Kinney Schinnerer of Anderson, IN, children, Paul Bonnie Schinnerer of Winnie, TX, Chris Schinnerer of Naples, FL, Lela Buck of Anderson, IN, Jonathan Mindy LaPierre of Frankton; sisters, Brenda Ralph Wright of Livingston, TX, & Barbara Bilbrey of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Brennen, Kiersten and Kaylee Schinnerer, Devon and Chase Keihn, Alexis and Saige Buck and Kelby and Kinley LaPierre as well as beloved pets Kaycee and Sammie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Huber Schinnerer, father, Lewis Schinnerer, favorite uncle, Sidney Huber; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, John & Bettye Kinney.
