George K. Prager, 87, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2014, in Millers Merry Manor, New Carlisle.
He was born on July 15, 1926, in Sioux City, IA, to the late George J. and Mary (Power) Prager. On May 2, 1953 he married Gwendollyn Lloyd, who preceded him in death on November 24, 1989. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Prager of South Bend; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and his sister, Geraldine Petcoff of Yarmouth Port, MA.
He worked for Addison Building Materials as a Sales Counter for 9 years, before retiring on July 15, 1991. He was United States Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW #3820.
