George Hunter Gedda walked into eternity today, June 3, 2020 after a short hospice stay. He worked for 30 years at Delta Air Lines and enjoyed his years of retirement on Lake Wedowee in Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and MaryJo (Hunter) Gedda and his sister, Elaine Gedda Brown. He is survived by a son, Gordon Hunter Gedda (Denise) of Rayville, Missouri and a daughter, Danica Page Gedda (Brian) of Aiken, SC. He is also survived by three grandchildren (Kim Piaggio, Ryan Cummings and Casey Martin), and three great-grandchildren (Brianna Piaggio, PFC. Hunter Piaggio and Krystillin Cummings).
