Our loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, George Hideo Sehara, age 89, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in West Valley City, Utah. He was born on May 4, 1932 in Gooding, Idaho to Magotaro “Mike” and Koura “Mary” Nakaoka Sehara. He served faithfully in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He married the love of his life, Janet M. Celaya on June 6, 1958. They just celebrated their amazing 63 years together. George and Jan moved to Salt Lake City in 1970 and raised their four daughters. He was an avid sports fan. He played football, basketball and ran track in high school. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV. George loved to fish, taking the family to Wendover and bowling. He was a member of the Japanese bowling league.

We will all miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; daughters: Debbie, Valerie, Georgina and Denise; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his brother, Frank Sehara. George was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
